Parents:

Dr. Goldstein’s Sports Medicine Team transitions from Mosaic to Saint Luke’s Health System next week (April 30th).

Please read through the following information:

Scheduling Phone: 816-569-1802 (we are told it will be staying the same)

Contacts: Bri continues as my Athletic Trainer and Coordinator, Dr. Nelson remains Orthopedic Surgery Sports Referral / Back up, Dr. Schoofs remains Family Medicine- Sports Medicine Colleague

Locations: not changing for now- Shoal Creek is in Liberty and Burlington Creek is in Parkville (and the closer location for many athletes)

Insurance coverages: for most athletes there will not be any change to coverage benefits

Pinnacle team athletes should be scheduled within 24 hours and advanced imaging (such as MRI) should be scheduled within the same week (sometimes same day depending on the athlete’s insurance company)

Dr. Goldstein thanks you for allowing him to help with the success of your athlete. He is looking forward to even more opportunities as he becomes “Saint Luke’s Specialty- Orthopedics and Sports Medicine”!
